Matthew 23:27 says, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

The many techniques and strategies that Satan uses to hinder Christian prayer. Why some prayers get answered and some not:

  1. Lack of diligent relationship with the Lord. Many so-called believers do not fear the Lord and obey His commandments in their walk with God.
  2. Laziness at the altar of prayer..
  3. No persevere
  4. Lust of the flesh, Lust of the eyes and the pride of life - 1 John 2:16.
  5. No righteousness in prayer - "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).
  6. “…shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways… 2 Chronicles 7:14
  7. Unbelief and doubt. No faith in God!
  8. “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts” (James 4:3). No, wonder the Apostles asked the LORD God to teach them how to pray - Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples - Luke 11:1.
  9. Unfriendly friend around.etc.

Ephesians 6 King James Version (KJV) 10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Satan always desires to hinder our prayers (2 Corinthians 2:11); we must persevere in prayer (Luke 18:1-8), in spite of the spiritual forces of the evil one assailed against us (Ephesians 6:11-12). Power over Satan and demons is in the Name of Jesus Christ to break every chain of darkness. Satan can't stop your prayers. All he can do is distract you from praying and trying to trick you into thinking that your prayer isn't going anywhere and that God can't hear it. But he can't stop what God hears. Matthew 7:7-8 How God answers our prayers: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, it will be opened. Praise God and give him glory!!!

2 Samuel 1:19 "The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!" 2 Samuel 1:25 "How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places." 2 Samuel 1:27 "How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!" Isaiah 3:25 "Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war." Isaiah 10:34 "And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one."

In conclusion, it's written, "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? 25 But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob" Isaiah 49:24-26 King James Version (KJV)).
